First Day Of School Outfits #1

Sadly, the end of summer is near... But that's okay! You can show off your clothes when school starts! Here are some tips on clothes and school. I'll also be sharing some outfits I will be wearing to school in later posts. Maybe you can gain ideas from them... (:

• Be creative

Creativity is important in school and lots of other places in life too! Copying other peoples outfits and clothes EXACT isn't very creative. Try adding your own thing to the outfit... Like a cool belt or some flashy accessories or adorable scarf. It makes you much more unique. You can also start your own trend... Get some friends to help! Maybe you can get more people to follow this trend. It has happened before at my school with beaded bracelets, brightly colored skinny jeans, and long colorful socks.

• Don't care

Lets say you bought a new pair pants and they looks GREAT on you. They're hot pink, extremely bright, and stand out ALOT. You love them anyways, and wear them to school. A few people snicker and laugh at them. WHO CARES?!* You shouldn't, they look great on you. So, that concludes this! If it looks good on you, and you like it then don't care what other people think. Wear what makes you comfortable and happy.

*Note: Before you wear them to school, show a few of your friends or your family members so you can get honest and decent opinions from them. You may love the pants, but sometimes your love ones know what really looks good on you! You should care about their opinions.

• Be Confident

Confidence is crucial in school. I know this, because I'm one of the quieter people in my class. Being quiet probably didn't make me seem confident, but this year I'm going to try talking more.(: And to any other quiet people out there who might be reading this- I challenge you to talk more in class! Leave comments below with stories of you going from quiet to more confident and loud (Or just a little louder.) Other things you can do to seem more confident: Don't compare yourself with other people, be happy with who you are! Look happy, just because you may feel a little down doesn't mean you have to look sad! Dressing nice helps too.(:

(I knoooow, this didn't have much to do with clothes... but maybe it'll help you.)

Here's an idea... On the first day of school where RAINBOW or bright colors. Why not stand out from the crowd for a day? The first day of school only comes once a year, it would be fun(: Maybe you'll like being bright colored and rainbow and will want to do it everyday... Or not. :P Rainbow looks great with black. You could wear black skinny jeans and a rainbow shirt. Or you could wear a black skirt, rainbow socks and a grey shirt with an adorable rainbow bow and black Converse and nerd glasses and... I think I got a little carried away there... Anywayyys, dress up nicer then usual or funner on the first day of school! Again, it only comes once a year! It's like a holiday that nobody really wants to come... Unless you like school... (:

If you're a fan of the video game from Nintendo, The Legend Of Zelda, then you might like this outfit! If you don't know what The Legend Of Zelda is or who Link is, that's okay! Maybe this will give some ideas on what to wear with skinny jeans or leggings. You can still dress like him if you like the outfit. (Yes, Link is a boy... and yes, this is a girls outfit.. but guys can wear it too!) Sooo, anyways... here's Link's outfit!

First of all green and brown/white aren't always the greatest colors to wear together. Instead you can replace green with black and be Dark Link! Or red. Or blue. Or purple. Or just wear your favorite colors!

The brown and white skinny jeans are as cute and as fashionable as Link's tights! (Okay, so maybe his tights aren't super fashiony... but they're still cute!) If you'd rather not wear light colored skinnys, wear grey ones. Even black will work. Or you could wear a green dress or large shirt or even a tunic with white or brown leggings, and if you really want to look like Link you can wear a brown belt around your waist with the dress or tunic or large shirt.

Since you'd look pretty silly walking around with a pointy hat, (Even though it's very hardcore when Link does.) you can wear a green beanie or hat. If you don't like wearing hats, you can clip a cute green flower or bow in your hair.

Any plain green shirt would work. Is that to boring for you? Then wear checker or plaid green shirt! Those are cute and stylish right now. If you want you can do what I said before, and where a tunic, dress, or large shirt. If you want to be creative, trying cutting some shirts! Kandeejohnson on Youtube has some GREAT video tutorials on cutting shirts.

Now for shoes! OF COURSE I'm suggesting Converse, and I probably will for every other outfit. Why? It's because I love Converse! Lots of people wear them, and to me they look good with almost everything. If you don't want to where Converse with this outfit, then wear boots! Make sure the boots look good with the outfit you're wearing though. To get a better 'Link' look they have to be brown.

Link is always wearing his gloves, but that doesn't mean you have to. His are brown, but black is cute and might look better in the non-video game world. If they look good with you Link outfit then wear them! If not... then don't. Jeans and shirt might look good with gloves. A dress and leggings probably wont. Be careful what you wear with your gloves!

Try not to over do it when dressing like Link... Like, don't wear the hat, gloves, dress, and belt all at once!! Maybe wear a little bow instead of the hat and no gloves with the dress. In my opinion, wearing tons of accessories at once doesn't look very good... like a scarf, hat, belt, gloves, don't always look good together... unless it's cold and winter outside.

Hello! Today I was bored, and I went on Polyvore to make a outfit for fun... I couldn't think of anything, so I starting putting together the outfit I am wearing right now... I thought it would be cool to save the outfits I wore somewhere, so I can look at them all whenever I want... And here I am!! Writing about what I wore today(:

Today I wore a Pac Man shirt with skinny jeans! I love skinny jeans... Every girl should own a pair(: They were also held up with my studded belt! I also wore my grey, slip on Converse. My Chucks are a lot messier then the ones in the picture... In 7th grade I let my friends draw on them in math class. My cousins and I have also drawn on them... They also have quite a few rips and holes in them. They're still cute, but I think it's time to buy some new Converse! Hopefully before school starts(: I wear a few friendship bracelets EVERYDAY! They're from my best friend since 3rd grade. I wear lots of bracelets everyday too... They're fun to have on. Today I wore my favorite darkish Pink wristband with a few rubber bracelets.I wore a smallish blue bow in my hair.. Bows are cute and fun to wear sometimes. Annnd that's it! That's what I wore today! Maybe this'll help some people who have trouble deciding what to wear or give them ideas or something... If you wanna know what store something is from, ask!
